    Soohwa Spa was created to bring true Korean Headspa artistry to Los Angeles with integrity, education, and clinical expertise. After training directly under a Korean master with over 30 years of experience, we recognized the difference between trend-based treatments and lineage-based techniques. We built Soohwa to go beyond relaxation — focusing on scalp analysis, root-cause recovery, and nervous system restoration.

    Meet Elissa

    Elissa Choi is a Certified Trichologist and Board-Certified Hair Loss Specialist dedicated to clinical scalp health and education. She specializes in identifying root causes of hair thinning, inflammation, postpartum shedding, and chronic scalp conditions.

    Her approach blends science, Korean Authentic Techniques (KAT™), and personalized treatment planning to support long-term scalp recovery and fuller, healthier-looking hair.

    Meet Jessica

    Jessica is a licensed esthetician and certified trichologist trained in authentic Korean headspa techniques. With advanced knowledge of head and neck anatomy, she focuses on therapeutic touch that calms the nervous system while restoring scalp balance.

    Her treatments combine precision, intention, and deep relaxation — creating an experience that is both clinical and restorative.
